Recently, Meta has launched a brand new smart glasses model called the Ray-Ban Meta. Not only do these glasses look stylish, but they also come equipped with powerful AI features. However, during my usage, I discovered a rather amusing issue: the AI in these glasses confidently lies about almost anything!

For instance, when I put on the Ray-Ban Meta glasses and walked down the street, the AI kept providing me with various pieces of information. One time, I saw someone in a red suit of armor, and the AI immediately told me it was Iron Man. I was taken aback for a moment, thinking, “How could that be?” As I got closer, I realized it was just an ordinary firefighter. At that moment, I suddenly understood that the AI in these glasses seemed to have a serious case of 'dad-brain.'

The term 'dad-brain' refers to a phenomenon where certain people, especially dads, confidently provide incorrect answers without realizing their mistakes. This often leads to some amusing misunderstandings in family life. For example, a dad might confidently tell you that the TV remote is on the couch, when in fact it's on the coffee table. This combination of confidence and blind trust can sometimes bring laughter, but it can also be frustrating.

In the case of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, this 'dad-brain' trait doesn't just show up in misidentifying people. I've also noticed that the AI makes similar errors when recognizing objects. Once, while walking in the park, the AI told me there was a dog ahead. I followed its direction and found out it was actually just a branch. These mistakes, while not severe, are quite amusing.

Despite these issues, I still believe the glasses have a lot of potential. AI development requires time and data accumulation, and I'm confident that these problems will be resolved as technology advances. After all, who hasn't made a mistake? The key is to learn from them and continuously improve. I hope future versions of the Ray-Ban Meta will become smarter and more accurate.

Overall, the glasses do exhibit some 'dad-brain' characteristics, but this doesn't detract from their being an interesting and promising tech product. If you enjoy trying out new gadgets, you might want to give these glasses a chance. You might find some unexpected fun in their 'dad-brain.'
